Unlock the Secrets Behind the Shocking Twist in Today’s Top Story!
Ever wonder how a quiet storm sneaks in and shakes up a whole system before anyone even notices? Well, Bam Knight might just be that sneaky tempest brewing in the Arizona Cardinals’ backfield. While the preseason typically feels like a sandbox for the established stars, Knight’s performance twisted the script—with 85 rushing yards over expectation, he didn’t just run the ball; he practically rewrote the Cardinals’ rushing narrative. But here’s the kicker—despite lighting up the field with explosive runs and stats that would make any coach sit up straight, he faces a dogfight to even make the final roster. So, is Bam Knight destined to be the unsung hero on the practice squad, or could he flip the cards and become the dark horse this NFL season? Stick around, because this story is just getting started.

The Arizona Cardinals may have found a gem for their running game.

The 24-year-old running back logged 138 rushing yards in just 12 carries, adding one touchdown.
He was solid in the preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the finale.
He paced all running backs in yards and scores, logging 83 rushing yards on just five carries.
Knight got the bulk of his production with an explosive 67-yard run at the end of the third quarter.
The Cardinals are expected to go with James Conner as their lead ball-carrier, but they’ve also raved about Trey Benson, who might split carries with Conner at some point in the season.
That makes it tough for Knight not only to get to the field but also to make the roster.
He will battle with Emari Demercado and DeeJay Dallas for the final spot.
But even if he doesn’t get the nod and is cut on Tuesday, the team would be wise to keep him around on their practice squad.
And with teams like the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints reportedly looking for running backs, he could also be a candidate.
