After some one-sided losses in the Super Bowl earlier in his career, John Elway and the Broncos finally broke through and won the first of consecutive Super Bowl victories with a 31-24 win over the Green Bay Packers in 1998. But it wasnât Elway who led the way offensively. Davis carried the load with 30 carries for 157 yards and became the only player with three rushing touchdowns in a Super Bowl.
