Jansen has been one of the most dominant closers of the 21st century, with a powerful cutter that became his trademark and earned him consistent success in the ninth inning.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound closer was a key figure in the Dodgers’ bullpen 2010 to 2021, recording at least 35 saves in six different seasons. Jansen has remained effective since leaving Los Angeles, leading the National League in saves in 2022 with 41 with the Atlanta Braves and continuing to find success with the Red Sox in 2023 and 2024. He had 29 saves with the Los Angeles in 2025.
