"Unveiling Secrets: What They Don't Want You to Know About This Shocking Discovery!"

As the Tennessee Titans gear up for the 2025 NFL Draft, there’s a fiery buzz surrounding the possibility of clinching the No. 1 overall pick and the anticipated selection of Miami quarterback Cam Ward. However, amidst the fervor, it’s easy to overlook the stark reality: this team finished dead last in the league last season. Questions swirl like a brisk Nashville wind—what else do they need to put on a competitive face? While the quarterback situation deserves attention, bolstering the defense is equally critical and brings us to an intriguing prospect: Toledo defensive tackle Darius Alexander. With the Titans recently hosting him for a pre-draft visit, could this powerhouse fill a significant gap and help reshape a struggling defense? Let’s dive into what this could mean for the Titans as they look to turn the page on a dismal season.

When it comes to the Tennessee Titans and the 2025 NFL Draft, so much focus has been on them having the No. 1 overall pick and the likely selection of Miami quarterback Cam Ward that it’s easy to forget that this was the worst team in the league last season and there are plenty of other needs outside of QB.

In order to make Ward’s likely transition to Nashville a bit easier, it wouldn’t hurt to tighten up the defense, which is what led the team to hosting one promising defensive tackle prospect on a pre-draft visit recently.

According to insider Justin Melo, the Titans recently hosted Toledo DT Darius Alexander on a top-30 visit.

The Titans hosted @ToledoFB DT Darius Alexander on a pre-draft 30 visit, per sources. Alexander is viewed as a Top 64 talent by many evaluators in the league. Alexander pairs strength with first-step explosiveness as a pass rusher and run stopper. Really good player.”

The Titans’ defense showed promise last season and partially struggled due to being put in untenable situations by their putrid offense so many times, but they had one of the league’s sturdiest pass defenses, giving up the second-fewest passing yards in the league.

The run defense was more of an issue since teams were often nursing leads and running clock against them, and Alexander would certainly help improve the league’s seventh-worst run defense.

The 6’4″ 305-pounder logged nine sacks, 11 pass deflections, and a 58-yard pick-six over the last three years at Toledo and would ideally slot in next to Titans 2024 second-round pick T’Vondre Sweat, who showed plenty of promise in the trenches as a rookie.

Tennessee has eight picks in the draft but doesn’t have a third-round selection, so they could be doing some maneuvering around the board to land exactly the guys they want.

Alexander is certainly a name to keep an eye on for them.
