He took the UNC job after the school parted ways with Mack Brown at the end of the 2024 season. The school is giving him $10 million to coach the football team this year and his staff is also going to be well-compensated.Â
According to 247Sports, Belichick’s staff is expected to make almost $12.5 million for the 2025 season. The school is paying Belichick’s assistant coaches almost $7 million combined, about $3.7 million to the front office, a little over $1 million to the strength and conditioning coaches, and just shy of $750,000 to other support coaches.Â
