“Unveiling the Legends: Who Holds the Record for Most Games Played in NBA History?”
2. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – 1,560
Before the inconceivable longevity of Parish, Abdul-Jabbar was once the NBA’s all-time leader in minutes played, points scored and blocked shots in addition to the career games played record. He played in 20 seasons, ending with the 1988-89 campaign.
3. *LeBron James – 1,556
James is primed to pass Kareem in his 22nd season for second on the all-time career games played list. He has scored at least 10 points in over 1,200 consecutive games (and counting), making him the only player with a streak above 866, Michael Jordan’s longest streak. The records seem to be falling like dominos for LeBron, who finds himself in the top six all-time in points, assists, steals, free throws and minutes played.
