There are internal solutions to both that minimize their losses, especially Dumba, whose game is closer to addition by subtraction territory. For many, the big loss on paper is probably Mikael Granlund. The Stars are more than deep enough to survive his absence. His empty-calorie points probably won’t be missed much — especially if someone such as Mavrik Bourque takes a big step.
