Urban Meyer Drops Unexpected Bombshell on Michigan’s National Title Fate—What He Really Thinks Will Shock You

Meyer does not believe that Michigan’s 2023 national championship should be vacated.

However, he does believe that anyone who lies to the NCAA should be banned from the sport.

“Yeah, I’ve been blown up all morning about that,” Meyer said on “The Triple Option” podcast. “I say pump the brakes. Don’t even go there. When you start seeing about coaches that can’t coach, you know, you went through this, and you see the word show-cause, show-cause, in my understanding, means you can’t coach. If someone wants to hire you, you’re not allowed to coach. So, obviously there’s some stuff there, but once again I defer until everything comes out, and I hope it does. I hope everything comes out. And so at some point you can move past this because this is like a black cloud that’s been hanging for a while.”
