What Unexpected Praise Is Legendary NFL Star Kurt Warner Receiving Now?
Over the course of E.J.’s first three seasons with the Owls (both Temple and Rice), the upperclassman completed 60% of his passes and led the AAC in passing yards per game in 2023 while also setting the Temple school record for touchdowns in a season.
At Rice last season, Warner threw for 17 touchdowns and the second-best completion percentage in program history — while also leading game-winning drive in the final seconds to beat UTSA.
Warner has a handful of 400-yard passing games on his resume as well, as he prepares to lead Fresno into a tough environment in Lawrence, KS on Aug. 23.
