When a Rebate Softens a Losing Session
What a rebate actually returns
A rebate is not a refund in the ordinary sense, because the money that comes back usually arrives as wagering credit rather than cash landing in a bank account. A typical arrangement might return ten to twenty percent of net losses over a defined period, say a single session or a full week, and that credit then carries its own rules about which games count and how many times it must be rolled over. The player who reads only the headline number often misses the part where a fifty-dollar loss becomes forty dollars of play rather than forty dollars in the pocket, and that distinction shapes the whole experience.
