"Why Bill Belichick's Unconventional No-Show at North Carolina's Pro Day Could Signal a Major Shift for the Patriots"

Pro Days are super beneficial for NFL teams since they get to see prospects have on-the-field workouts and do drills. It helps teams determine if they want to take players once the NFL Draft comes around in April.

Belichick got by UNC in December after the school parted ways with Mack Brown. Brown was in his second stint with the school and had been the head coach for the previous six seasons. He finished the 2024 season with a 6-6 record and his second tenure with a 44-33 record.

Belichick took the 2024 season off and did a lot of media after he and the New England Patriots parted ways after the 2023 NFL season ended. The two sides felt it was best to go their separate ways after Belichick helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls during his tenure.
