The SEC has traditionally has had a week where many teams have played non-Power 5 teams, which will be coming to an end and could be replaced with a game against the Irish.

As of right now, according to FBSchedules.com, the Irish have a game this season against Texas A&M and Arkansas, will play the Razorbacks again in 2028 along with Texas. In 2029, they’ll take on the Longhorns again and have Alabama on the schedule as well. The next season, they’ll conclude the home-and-home agreement with the Crimson Tide and then in 2031 will start a series against the Florida Gators. The second game of that set will be played the following year, and no other SEC teams are scheduled after 2032.
