Wisconsin’s New Football Schedule Sparks Outrage—What Fans Aren’t Being Told
On Sept. 5, 2026, Wisconsin will take on Notre Dame in what should be an excellent finish to Labor Day weekend. These two programs squared off in 2021 as part of the Shamrock Series. The Fighting Irish won that game, 41-13.
While the matchup should be pretty good, Wisconsin fans are pretty frustrated that it won’t be played at Camp Randall Stadium.
As of now, Wisconsin and Notre Dame will go head-to-head at Lambeau Field. Although the Badgers should have home-field advantage, the atmosphere might not be as electric as it would be at Camp Randall Stadium.
