If Green Bay Packers fans are panicking after the loss to the Cleveland Browns, they should take note of what the coaches and players are saying.

One loss doesn’t define a season, and teams can often learn a lot more from their wins than their losses.

Their Game 3 performance wasn’t pretty, but it doesn’t mean the season is over, of course.

Xavier McKinney talked about this in an interview shared via Dave Schroeder on X, who indicated that better days are ahead for this franchise.

“It’s just one game. It ain’t going to make or break. We just gotta keep moving forward and figure out what we need to do better. I’ve been playing long enough, a lot of these guys been playing long enough to know it’s hard to go undefeated,” McKinney said.

Schroeder also mentioned that McKinney tried to temper fan expectations after the team went 2-0, knowing, as a veteran, that there isn’t a trophy for teams who start the season strong.

In fact, there have been many teams in recent history who have gotten off to strong starts, only to falter down the stretch and either miss the playoffs or struggle when they get to the postseason.

The Packers have a lot of history of winning championships, but they also have plenty of examples of heartbreak and frustration.

It remains to be seen what will happen this season, but as McKinney indicated, they’ll need to take it one game at a time.

Losing to the Browns was suboptimal, but if they let that loss hang over their heads, it could stick with them and not allow them to be present in their future games.

With the Dallas Cowboys coming up on Sunday Night Football, the Packers will need to ensure that they get back on the right track and find a way to win on national TV.
