Mascots are as much of a tradition in college football as the opening kickoff and just about every school takes as much pride in their mascots as their win-loss total.
But which mascots stand out as the best? This is the question that ESPN set out to answer in a recent power ranking from Ryan McGee.Â
McGee broke down the category of mascot into separate types: Costume, Live/Animal and Human.Â
For the top costumed mascot in college football, McGee went with the Oregon Duck. He feels that the Duck has done a great job of acting like a friend to everyone he meets while also being a fun character.
