2027 DL’s Shocking Choice: Why Oregon Tops Oklahoma and Washington in Recruitment Battle
On Friday, Oregon landed a commitment from three-star Lake Oswego defensive lineman and edge prospect Josh Christensen, who chose the Ducks over Oklahoma, Washington and California.
Christensen, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defender, is regarded as the No. 2 overall prospect in Oregon in the 2027 cycle, behind only West Linn cornerback Josiah Molden, who previously pledged to Oregon. Christensen is also rated as the nation’s No. 102 edge prospect in the class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
