2027 Four-Star IOL Shocks College Football World by Choosing Ohio State Over Powerhouse Programs LSU, Ole Miss, and Oregon
On Friday, Ohio State received a commitment from Jackson Academy offensive lineman Caden Moss, one of the nation’s highest-rated trench prospects in the 2027 recruiting class. The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Mississippi native selected the Buckeyes over finalists Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU, Oregon and Tennessee after completing official visits during the spring recruiting period.
Moss, who announced his decision on Instagram Live after reaching it earlier in the week, gives head coach Ryan Day another recruiting win. ESPN ranks him as the No. 15 overall prospect and the No. 4 offensive tackle in the 2027 class, while the 247Sports Composite lists him as the nation’s No. 72 overall player, the No. 7 offensive lineman and the No. 3 recruit in Mississippi. The USA TODAY Composite places him No. 70 nationally and No. 6 among offensive linemen.
