Ole Miss football had a busy day on the college football recruiting trail. On Monday, Ben’Jarvius Shumaker fully committed to Ole Miss. He then flipped to Colorado before Shumaker flipped back to Ole Miss, all in the same day.
While Pete Golding and Ole Miss were working on securing Shumaker, they also landed another four-star defensive lineman, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Mitchell Turner has committed to Ole Miss. The third-ranked defensive lineman in the class of 2027 chose the Rebels over Texas, Alabama, and LSU. Turner took an official visit to Ole Miss earlier in the month, which proved to be a pivotal moment in his recruitment, according to Chad Simmons of Rivals.
