Allen Iverson Drops Surprising Insight: Why He’s ‘Excited’ About the Sixers’ New Backcourt Shakeup
The Philadelphia 76ers suffered a tight, disappointing 109-108 loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
But the good news is that it was their first defeat of the season, and they are currently 4-1.
Like millions of fans, Sixers icon Allen Iverson is very happy with what he’s seen from the team.
He said that he loves the energy and youth on the team and Philadelphia’s exciting backcourt pairing.
“I’m just excited. I’m their number one fan. I love my team. I’m looking forward to great things. When we don’t do as good as we should, I always get flack. People talk bad to me. Because this they know this is where my heart is at. But I’ve got something for them this year,” Iverson said.
