Baer Hunter’s Surprising New Role: What’s Next for College Football’s Most Talked-About Coach?
Despite just wrapping up his playing career at Appalachian State earlier this decade, Hunter already has worked on former Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson’s Demon Deacons staff as well as at MTSU.
The impending move to Elon will mark the first time that Hunter has been in charge of an entire position.

Hunter will join the Elon program of coach Tony Trisciani. The Phoenix are members of the Coastal Athletic Association.
