D’Angelo Russell is just days away from starting his first season with the Dallas Mavericks, and he’s hoping to ignite the fanbase and remind the rest of the league what he can do.
A lot of people feel that Russell will be a great fit in Dallas, while others think he will come up short.
Speaking about Russell, Bill Simmons compared him to a friend who sticks around for too long and begins to rub you the wrong way.
“He’s your buddy that comes to visit and it’s really great when he is only there for one day and by day six you’re like, ah, I’m ready for him to leave. That’s D-Lo,” Simmons said of Russell.
