Colin Cowherd’s Shocking Prediction for USC QB Jayden Maiava’s NFL Draft Future Will Change Everything
Jayden Maiava’s first year of college football at UNLV was a bit sporadic. He surpassed the 3,000-yard mark but went 17-10 on his touchdown-to-interception ratio. But the Hawaiian native has developed nicely under USC head coach Lincoln Riley since transferring to the program before the 2024-25 season.
He’s now in his second year as the Trojans’ starting quarterback. While the competition level hasn’t been the best so far this season (San Jose State, Fresno State), Maiava is still putting up ridiculous numbers, regardless. Through two games, the USC star has thrown for 635 yards and five touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his pass attempts.
