Could Trinidad Chambliss Be the NFL’s Next Star by 2027? Expert Says Yes—and Here’s Why
Speaking on “The Athletic Football Show,” Dane Brugler of The Athletic said that Chambliss is going to be “starting games in the NFL next year.” Though Chambliss is an “older” prospect at 24 years old, Brugler believes that comes with benefits, as the quarterback has thrown for 924 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions through three games with the Rebels this season.
“The guy we saw play Saturday night, he will be starting games in the NFL next year. Is he going to be a top-15 pick? Is he going to be more of a top-40 pick? There’s so many examples around the league, not of exactly what Chambliss is, but examples of other quote-unquote outliers, maybe that are doing some really good things in the NFL right now,” Brugler said.
