Rondale Moore has big Purdue football debut vs. Northwestern
After helping New Albany win an Indiana Class 4A state basketball championship, Moore transferred to Trinity Lutheran High School in Louisville. That so happened to be the alma mater of then Purdue football coach Jeff Brohm, who was able to wrestle Moore away from Texas, where he was verbally committed. In one half against Northwestern of his first game, Moore became a Purdue legend. By halftime of his first game, Moore had 302 all-purpose yards. He finished with a Purdue record 313, breaking a 46-year-old record previously owned by Otis Armstrong, on Aug. 31, 2018.
