Enzo Maresca Poised to Take Over Manchester City—Is This the Dawn of a New Era or a Risky Gamble?

After months of uncertainty in the matter, multiple reports have broken claiming Pep Guardiola will leave his position as the Manchester City manager at the end of the season. The name that has been mentioned the most in terms of a potential replacement is Enzo Maresca, and according to Fabrizio Romano, City have already reached a full agreement on an initial three-year contract with the former Chelsea boss.
It is certainly the end of an era at City. This summer will mark exactly a decade since the Catalan tactician arrived at the Etihad, and he has won 20 trophies in that time, including six Premier League titles (a seventh is still not ruled out at this point), three FA Cups, five League Cups, three Charity Shields, and the trio consisting of the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
