Keumajou Yondui is one of the more intriguing players in the class. Originally from England who moved to the United States last summer, he’s a multi-sport athlete who also plays soccer and basketball. Technique isn’t quite there yet, but the movement skills are a huge plus. Being in college will help improve that technique quite a bit.
Both Rivals and 247 Sports have the Gators set to land Keumajou Yondui, who is the 48th-ranked defensive lineman recruit in the Rivals’ Industry Ranking. He’s already visited the Gators twice, with a third visit, this one official, set to occur on May 28th. It would be a major coup to have Keumajou Yondui in the building. Defensive line coach Gerald Chatman would be able to elevate him to another level on defense.
Rivals’ Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Gators with a 98.2% chance to land him on Wednesday morning. It would give the Gators 11 commitments, possibly 12 if offensive tackle Elijah Hutcheson ends up committing on Tuesday, and anytime you can get one over on both Miami and Georgia, it’s a good day.
This could end up being a massive week for the Gators.
