Florida’s JUCO Secret Weapon Set to Shake Up the Season – Enrolling Immediately!
The Florida Gators are entering their first season under new head coach Jon Sumrall. Sumrall has already been active on the recruiting trail, landing multiple big-name recruits for the Gators.
Those recruits will not make an impact in the 2026 season, but the team has added a JUCO transfer they are hoping can make an immediate impact, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Cornerback Javier Jones has committed to Florida and is expected to enroll in the university next week. He played this past season at Independence Junior College and will still have three years of eligibility left. He also had an offer from UTEP and some interest from LSU. Jones spoke about committing to Florida, according to Blake Alderman of Gators Online.
