Former Cincinnati Big Man Eyes Shocking Move to Texas A&M—What’s Behind the Decision?
Heading into his second season at the helm, Texas A&M head coach Bucky McMillan has already received an extension after leading his first roster to the NCAA Tournament, while finishing with a 22-12 record, including 11 SEC wins during his inaugural campaign. Leading a team completely built from the transfer portal, McMillan and his staff are now in rebuild mode after the transfer portal opened on Tuesday.
So far, reserve guard Josh Holloway and Spanish sharpshooter Rubén Dominguez, who has already committed to Xavier, are the only players from the 2025 roster to enter the portal, while senior forward Zach Clemence and, as of Monday, fellow big men Jamie Vinson and Chris McDermott announced their return for the 2026-2027 season.
