HBCU GO Drops 2026 Football Lineup—Which Rivalries Will Dominate Your Screen?
On Thursday, HBCU GO released its latest slate of games for the 2026 season, featuring several standout matchups across the SWAC. Including games with potential SWAC championship implications, the 13-game slate starts on August 29 with North Carolina Central visiting Texas Southern University and then concludes on November 21 with a battle between Texas Southern and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Three highly anticipated games from Florida A&M are featured on HBCU GO’s 2026 schedule. First, in Week 4, the Rattlers and Tennessee State renew their rivalry; they played in the Atlanta HBCU Classic for years until both programs rolled off each other’s schedules in the 2010s. This will be their first matchup since 2017. Meanwhile, Alabama State’s homecoming matchup against FAMU will be featured on October 10 at 4 p.m. The matchup will feature two former stars at their alma mater coaching against each other in Florida A&M’s Quinn Gray Sr. and Alabama State’s Eddie Robinson Jr.
