How Colorado Quietly Built One of the Nation’s Most Dominant Transfer Portal Classes
College football’s transfer portal closed in January, but even in a short two-week window, several teams completely overhauled their roster. The Colorado Buffaloes would fall into that category, bringing in 40-plus transfers in an attempt to right the ship after a disappointing 3-9 2025 season.
Much has been discussed about the Buffs’ transfer portal class, with ESPN’s Bill Connelly even ranking it among the top 3 nationally. Craig Haubert, also of ESPN, released his transfer portal rankings on Wednesday, giving Colorado the No. 18 portal class in college football.
