Knicks star Jalen Brunson suffered a right ankle injury in the first quarter of Wednesday’s 112-101 loss to the Sacramento Kings and never returned. However, there was a good sign following the game.
According to multiple eyewitness accounts, including from The Athletic’s James Edwards, the guard left the locker room without a boot or crutches.

There wasn’t an update on Brunson’s condition from the team.
The incident occurred with 7:45 remaining in the first quarter when Brunson tried to cross up Maxime Raynaud on the wing, but slipped and fell, appearing to turn his ankle.
