LSU Pulls Off Shocking Upset, Snags Elite 4-Star RB from SEC Powerhouses
Lane Kiffin and LSU have recorded another major win on the college football recruiting trail. On Monday, the Tigers landed Terrance Smith, a four-star interior offensive lineman.
Now, LSU has brought in a new running back to run behind Smith, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
Four-star running back Tre Segarra has committed to LSU, choosing the Tigers over South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and Stanford.
Segarra, who is from Duncan, South Carolina, and whose parents are both South Carolina alums, is coming off a solid junior season at Byrnes High School. He ran for 1,460 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also caught 19 receptions for 198 yards and four scores. The running back was set to have visits with Notre Dame and South Carolina later in the month, but after an official visit to LSU, he has decided to join Lane Kiffin.
