Luke Fickell Reveals Shocking Truth Behind Wisconsin Football’s NFL Draft Struggles
Wisconsin football used to be one of the top programs in the Big Ten, consistently making it to Big Ten Championship Games and Rose Bowls during the 2010s. However, the Badgers have struggled with the transition to the NIL era, and have now become a bottom-feeder in recent years.
The downturn has happened under head coach Luke Fickell, who was expected to be a home-run hire back in 2022 after he led Cincinnati to a College Football Playoff appearance in 2021. However, the Fickell hire has not popped, as he has just a 16-21 record in three seasons at Wisconsin with just one bowl game appearance.
