Marshall Faulk’s Surprise Super Bowl Guest at Southern University Practice Sparks Excitement and Speculation
Southern University head coach Marshall Faulk is leaning on one of the NFL’s most accomplished offensive minds as he prepares for his first season leading the Jaguars. According to WBRZ, former St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Mike Martz spent the past four days at Southern football practice, working alongside Faulk and the Jaguars coaching staff.
Martz and Faulk share a long history. Martz served as the Rams’ offensive coordinator during the famed “Greatest Show on Turf” era before later becoming the team’s head coach. Together, they helped lead the Rams to a victory in Super Bowl XXXIV, with Faulk earning NFL MVP honors during his Hall of Fame career.
