He’s acquitted himself nicely, putting up 13 points in 16 games and playing well enough at five-on-five for the Islanders to win his minutes 9-5. Now, is he shooting the puck more frequently? At 4.43 shots per 60 … nope! Still, he’s added real value to the Isles’ top six.
