The Fourth Period: The Montreal Canadiens are looking to move forward Brendan Gallagher, and he wouldn’t mind playing for the Vancouver Canucks. There is some interest on the Canucks side of things.
Gallagher has a year left on his contract at a $6.5 million cap but a $4 million salary. Agent, Gerry Johansson, was on the Donnie and Dhali Show on Monday.
“I think initially they expressed interest, but they have moving parts, too,” Johansson said. “It’s on their desk, and I do think they do have interest. It’s just a matter if it can work or not. Until it’s done, it’s never done.”
