NHL Shocker: Why Cutter Gauthier’s Philadelphia Return Is Definitely Off the Table

But to Di Marco’s point, if Gauthier were eligible, it is highly unlikely the Flyers would send him an offer sheet given how he left Philadelphia. So there is that.
Cutter Gauthier’s number has gone up, and the Anaheim Ducks will need to move money
Again, the Anaheim Ducks are in a pickle thanks to Briere and Pat Verbeek‘s refusal to do business early. Now, reports say Gauthier refused a four-year deal with a $13 million AAV. Given what Leo Carlsson got from the Flyers in an offer sheet, Gauthier’s camp is looking for $15 million on an AAV. So the Ducks have work to do.
