Zach Bolduc and Arber Xhekaj still need to get contracts signed
Eric Engels of Sportsnet: Montreal Canadiens RFA forward Zachary Bolduc said six weeks ago that he wasn’t worried that he wasn’t signed, and that his agent, Pat Brisson, was taking care of it and it would “get taken care of soon.” It’s still not done, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if it’s done before September 16th, when they report for their physicals.
Either side has said what they’re looking for, but a three-year deal around $4 million would make sense. It could be two or four, but not one or eight. A short/medium deal makes sense.
