North Carolina HC Bill Belichick Left Speechless After Shocking Syracuse Defeat—What Went Wrong?
“Not too much to say about this one,” Belichick said. “They made a couple more plays than we did today. And it was the difference in the game.”
Belichick also did not hesitate to praise Syracuse, saying the team had once again demonstrated the resilience it had shown in previous games.
“Hard-fought game, just like all of the other ones we’ve seen Syracuse play, and we just came up a little short,” he added.
Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. delivered one of his strongest performances of the season despite the disappointing result. He completed 27 of 44 passing attempts for a season-high 271 yards and two touchdowns.
