Notre Dame AD Unveils Game-Changing Strategy That Could Redefine College Football Forever
Powlus has long been part of the Notre Dame family, playing quarterback for the university from 1993 through 1997. After a short professional playing career, he jumped into coaching in 2005, spending five years as the quarterback coach for the Irish. When Brian Kelly took over after the 2009 season, Powlus spent two years as the Akron quarterback coach before rejoining Charlie Weiss at Kansas from 2012 through 2014.
When Weiss was let go at Kansas, Powlus returned to Notre Dame as the Director of Player Development for coach Kelly. He has been with the Notre Dame administration since.
