“Just the culture and everything about it, the school, the people,” Hawk told Rivals about why he chose Notre Dame over other schools.
“Obviously Coach Freeman is a great coach,” Hawk continued. “Coach Bivin does a great job with tight ends. (Mike) Denbrock does an awesome job with the offense. I love the way they use their tight ends. I think I’ll play a big role in the offense if its not early it will be in future.”
Hawk is the eighth ranked rectuit out of Oklahoma, and 18th overall at the tight end position. While he is a highly rated recruit, he is the tenth-ranked recruit in the class, which includes ten other four-star recruits, and is currently ranked tenth overall.
