Ohio State Unveils Surprising Tribute to Legendary Coach in Season Opener—What It Means for the Team’s Future
The Ohio State football team is honoring one of their most successful coaches this coming season. Former Buckeyes head coach Jim Tressel is getting enshrined into the Ohio Stadium Ring of Honor, per the school.
Tressel won a national championship at Ohio State, in 2002. Following his college coaching career, he entered politics and Tressel now serves as the Lieutenant Governor of the state of Ohio.
He is the third Buckeyes head coach to be honored at the stadium. The other two are the legendary Woody Hayes, and Paul Brown.
