Ole Miss’ Deuce Alexander Predicts Brutal Showdown: LSU Secondary Faces True Bloodbath
Ole Miss wide receiver Deuce Alexander has already given LSU plenty of bulletin-board material ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup in Oxford.
Speaking with reporters on Tuesday, Alexander made a bold statement when asked about the Tigers’ secondary:
“Just get ready. It’s going to be a bloodbath.”
LSU quickly turned the comment into motivation, placing Alexander’s quote on the video boards inside its team facility less than 24 hours later.
Alexander’s confidence comes despite his recognition of the strength of the Tigers defensive backs. LSU has surrendered the 12th-fewest passing yards in the nation through the opening portion of the season.
