Oregon fans probably don’t care that Moore does this, as long as he wins games. The Ducks have had a lot of success under Lanning, making the College Football Playoff in 2024 and 2025.
Moore threw for 3,565 passing yards in 2025, with 30 touchdown passes. He also threw 10 interceptions for the Ducks, who lost in the CFP to Indiana.
Moore has the trust of his head coach.
“Had an unbelievable year last year. Is really obviously a special quarterback. What makes Dante so special is who he is as a person, seeing the community outreach he does, the leader he is for his teammates, the work he’s that done,” Coach Lanning said about Moore at Big Ten Media Days, per 247 Sports.
