Oregon’s Evan Stewart Shatters Expectations with Shocking Injury Comeback Reveal
The wideout made a name for himself once again on Saturday, in the team’s spring game. Oregon’s wide receiver finished the contest with four receptions. He also caught a 76-yard touchdown pass.
“It was a great feeling,” Stewart said of his score. “I just thank God I’m back. It was a one-of-a-kind feeling.”
It has been a long road back to health for Stewart.
“It didn’t really hit me until last night,” Stewart said. “I was just thinking about… I really wanted to get here. I never really wanted to get to a spring game before, I want to work on my craft. And usually when you get towards the spring game, we’re about to hit summer, and you miss the time to work on live reps. This time, I was really keyed in on doing that.”
