Pete Golding’s Stark Warning to Ole Miss After Narrow Escape Against Louisville — What It Means for Their Season
Golding collected another ranked win on Sunday night, and did so in a neutral venue in Nashville, Tennessee’s Nissan Stadium, but the defense was worryingly leaky in the second half. The Cardinals scored 32 points in the final two quarters and forced the Rebels to close out this Music City showdown with a 48-yard field goal. Ole Miss is not taking this close call lightly.
“It’s good to get out here with a win,” Golding said, per On3’s Pete Nakos. “But if we don’t come into this tape with an open mind and learn from the mistakes, it’s going to take a loss to do it.”
