Prairie View A&M vs. Texas Southern Labor Day Classic Shocker: ESPN’s Controversial Move Sparks Outrage and Curiosity
The highly anticipated Labor Day Classic is making a controversial move in favor of national exposure. The annual game between Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern is now set to take place on Sunday, September 6 at 11 a.m. The game, which normally takes place on Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend, has been moved to Sunday to allow the game to be broadcast on ESPN2.
In quotes obtained by Terrence Harris of the Texas Defender, Prairie View A&M Athletic Director Anton Goff defended his decision.
