Rams Unveil 18 Undrafted Free Agents: Could Hidden Gems Shape Their Season?

The Los Angeles Rams have long treated the undrafted free agent market as an extension of the NFL Draft itself, and once again they are casting a wide net. Shortly after wrapping up their 2026 draft class, the Rams announced an 18 player undrafted free agent class that reflects both developmental upside and positional depth. While none of these players heard their names called over draft weekend, several bring intriguing production and could push for roster spots heading into training camp.

Bryce Henderson, OT (Vanderbilt)
Henderson arrives with SEC experience and versatility along the offensive line. In his final season at Vanderbilt, he started 12 games at tackle and allowed just three sacks across more than 700 snaps. Known for his length and pass protection ability, he’ll compete for a depth role behind the Rams’ starting tackles.

Dan Villari, TE (Syracuse)
Villari is an athletic tight end with a unique background, having previously played quarterback. In 2025, he recorded 28 receptions for 312 yards and four touchdowns. His mobility and gadget-play potential could make him a developmental chess piece for the future.

Wesley Bailey, OLB (Louisville)
Bailey brings pass-rushing juice after posting 6.5 sacks and 11 tackles for loss in his final season. He showed steady improvement at Louisville and could be a candidate for the Rams’ rotational edge group.

Rohan Jones, TE (Arkansas)
Jones is more of a traditional, in-line tight end. He totaled 19 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns in 2025. His blocking ability stands out and could help him stick on a practice squad.

Nikhai Hill-Green, LB (Alabama)
After transferring to Alabama, Hill-Green had a productive season with 68 tackles, six tackles for loss, and two interceptions. He’s a smart, instinctive linebacker who could compete for special teams snaps early.

Matthew Caldwell, QB (Texas)
Caldwell is a developmental quarterback who threw for 2,145 yards, 15 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in limited action. He’ll likely compete for a third or fourth QB spot while learning behind a veteran room.

Jaxson Moi, DL (Tennessee)
Moi provides interior defensive line depth after recording 27 tackles and 3.5 sacks. His strength at the point of attack fits well with the Rams’ defensive front philosophy.

Payton Zdroik, DT (Air Force)
Zdroik was a force in the Mountain West, tallying 42 tackles and five sacks in 2025. His motor and discipline make him an intriguing fit, particularly in run defense packages.
