NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Rangers’ sell-off that general manger Chris Drury warned fans would be coming as part of a retooling process looks to be getting underway.

Defenseman Carson Soucy is being held out of the Rangers’ lineup Monday night against the Boston Bruins for roster management reasons, according to a person familiar with the decision. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because no trade had been finalized.
