After taking a breather on Monday, the Cincinnati Reds are back in action Tuesday, still hunting for their inaugural win in this year’s Cactus League. The initial outings have been a bit rough—they’ve dropped the first two matchups against the Cleveland Guardians and Seattle Mariners. Now, the spotlight shifts to their challenge against the Kansas City Royals, continuing their stretch against American League opponents.
On the mound today, Andrew Abbott is slated to pitch for the very first time this spring, and there’s some real intrigue around whether Brandon Williamson will make an appearance after more than a year away.
